The Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC) has reportedly announced a recruitment drive for different posts for the year 2020. As per the latest update from the official website, this regulatory authority has released a recruitment requirement of 896 vacancies in different posts of ayurvedic pharmacists, junior engineer, law officer, junior draftsman, clerk, ophthalmic officer, labour inspector, junior laboratory technician, surveyor, junior quality control officer, language teacher, junior office assistant, shastri, etc.
The highest number of vacancies in the shastri and language teacher section. Considering all the categories, the minimum and maximum age set by the state commission are 18 and 45 years. The eligibility criteria will vary for general and reserved candidates. Information regarding HPSSC Recruitment 2020
The exam will be the first stage of selection. The questions will be MCQ type and will be provided online in the certified centres. As per the information, a total of 170 questions will be provided in the exam. The time limit to solve these questions is 2 hours. Each question will carry 0.5 marks hence, the total is 85. There is no deduction of marks on answering a question wrongly.
