About Ashwini Vaishnaw:
Ashwini Viahnaw is a former IAS officer of India. Before starting is political career he served as a collector of Balasore and Cuttack district of Indian state Odisha. Vaishanw also worked as a private secretary of former prime minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2004. Vaishnaw belongs to Jodhpur, he was born to a bairagi family in Jodhpur (Rajasthan) in 1970. He completed his graduation from MBM engineering college (JNVU) Jodhpur. He finished his M.Tech from IIT Kanpur and went to USA for MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He cracked the IAS exam in 1994 with a all India rank of 27. Due to some financial requisite, he left the civil services and joined corporate world as MD of GE Transportation, Later he also become the VP in Siemens. Ashwini Vaishnaw has vast experience of corporates as well as Indian Administrative services.
Presently Ashwini Vaishnaw is a member of Indian Parliament and representing the Odisha state in Rajya Sabha. After the reshuffle of Modi’s cabinet he is now become the Railway minister of India., since 8th July 2021.
